Year 4 - Amsterdam 2023 - 2024

Welcome to Year 4

Spring Term

Welcome to the Spring term in Year 4 and a big thank you for all of your lovely Christmas wishes and gifts.

The children are all happy and settled after their break and are tackling their new challenges with an impressive level of maturity.

Our topic this term is ‘The Ancient Greeks.’ We will learn about life in Ancient Greece, make comparisons with the ancient civilisations we have explored so far, and will also be learning about the geography of Greece and its mountains.

As it has been tricky to source an effective local visit for this topic, we will be having an ancient Greece outreach day at the end of February. This means, in effect, that the visit wil come to us and the children will benefit from expert outside teaching, activities and an opportunity to handle real artefacts. As such, this will incur a cost. Details will be sent nearer the time.

Please see the newsletter in the file below to find out more information about our learning this term!
