Reception - Islamabad 2023 - 2024
For most of our sessions we can choose where we continue our learning, inside or outside. We do lots of learning through active play, we have sand and water exploration, mark-making, construction, reading and role play areas to name a few! All of which is structured to ensure we make outstanding progress in all areas of development.
We firmly believe in having lots of fun, having a go, following our interests and learning through play.
We are truly proud of our Reception children and are grateful of such supportive parents. We are always available to speak to you should you have any concerns - please contact the office to arrange an appointment.
Parents / carers, please keep an eye out for updates on your Tapestry account for observations and home learning activities :) If you are having any issues with your account / logging in please let any member of the Reception Team know and we will look into this for you. We will send out a letter to give you access to Floppys phonics which you can use to support your child's learning at home.

Book changing day is specific to your child and details of this are attached to their reading record. Please help us by bringing in books on the correct day.
Important weekly information:
- PE - Tuesdays and Thursdays
- Homework - we will share ideas of how to consolidate your child's learning at home through Tapestry.

Autumn Term - Magical Me/Celebrations
Spring Term - Off to the shops/How things work
Summer Term - The great outdoors/All around the world

Mrs Hall (PPA Cover - children will do PE during these sessions on Tuesday mornings and Thursday afternoons. Please ensure your child has their full PE kit.)
