Free School Meals

Parents can now check entitlement to Free School Meals through an online system, which you access through the council website:

https://www.stockport.gov.uk/school-grants

You will need an email address and your National Insurance (NI) or(NASS) number in order to proceed. The system will check against the Department for Work and Pensions and send details through to the Benefits team to evaluate the claim. An emailed response back to the parent is provided within three working days.

Please note: This is the only route by which a claim can be made. Paper applications will no longer be accepted, including Pupil Premium eligibility checks.
