Greater Manchester Indoor Athletics competition

8 of our Year 6 pupils were chosen to represent our school at the Athletics competition at SportCity, Manchester.

Over 300 pupils from across the borough competed in events - long jump, 60 metres sprint, 400 metres, chest pass challenge and team relay in the fantastic Indoor Athletics Arena at the complex.

We had a fantastic time, our pupils represented Prospect Vale outstandingly and pushed themselves to some amazing personal performances. We are very proud of them all.

A special mention to Jay who did a Mo Farrah and smashed his 400 metre race with an incredible sprint finish!
