Welcome to Year 3

Summer Term

Our class topic is: Waterways

This term we will be learning all about different types of waterways in our environment. We will be focusing particularly on canals; why they were built and what it was like to live on a canal. Immedaiately after the half term break, we will be visiting the National Waterways Museum in Ellesmere Port. We will also be learning about water safety and are all looking forward to swimming lessons on Fridays!

Last term we learned all about Stockport.

We hope that you all enjoyed our class assembly, where we show-cased our learning! We recently had a fabulous day at the air raid shelters. It was definitely worth the wait!

In the Autumn term we had a fantastic Stone-Age to Iron-Age day at Tatton Park (please see photos in folder on top of the page)

Things to remember:

Spelling books need to be in school every Friday. Spellings will also be put on the Google classroom each week.

Homework will be put on the Google classroom onThursday and should be returned by Tuesday, through the Google classroom, or on paper where this isn't possible.

Book changing day is Monday, where possible. Please try to read daily and ensure that diaries are signed by an adult.
