Year 3 2018 - 2019

Mrs Novacki

Summer  Term

Our topic this term is:

This half term we are learning all about  Canals and Rivers

Our key question is:

What was it like to live on a canal?

We are looking forward to our visit to The National Waterways Museum where we will experience an art workshop and ride on a canal boat.

We are also very excited about our swimming lessons this term! Make sure that all kits are in school on Fridays!

We had an amazing day at the Air Raid shelters where we became wartime evacuees.

We enjoyed a fantastic Stone-age to Iron-age day with our visitor 'Clud', on 10th October 2017

We have enjoyed reading some Roald Dahl stories and writing playscripts.

Homework is given on Thursday and should be returned by Tuesday.

Spellings are to be learned by Friday.

Spelling books are needed in school every Friday.

Reading books can be changed as required but diaries must be signed by an adult. Children are expected to take responsibility for ensuring their books are changed. Please write the date as well as the title of the book.

Please ensure that your child has an old shirt to cover their clothes during messy art lessons. Thank you.
