Mrs Novacki

Spring Term 2018

Our topic this term is:

Stockport Now and Then

This term we are learning all about Stockport.

We will begin by exploring the different human geographical features and learning about the significance of the various landmarks.

Our key question is:

Why does Stockport have underground air-raid shelters?

We are looking forward to our visit on Thursday 25th January.

Our topic this term is 'The Savage Stone-Age' and the

'Stories of Roald Dahl'.

We are practising hard for our Christmas Production.

We hope you will all come and watch us!

We hope you all enjoyed our class assembly on 8th November!

We enjoyed a fantastic Stone-age to Iron-age day with our visitor 'Clud', on 10th October 2017

We have enjoyed reading some Roald Dahl stories and writing playscripts.

Homework is given on Thursday and should be returned by Tuesday.

Spellings are to be learned by Friday.

Spelling books are needed in school every Friday.

Reading books can be changed as required but diaries must be signed by an adult. Children are expected to take responsibility for ensuring their books are changed. Please write the date as well as the title of the book.

Please ensure that your child has an old shirt to cover their clothes during messy art lessons. Thank you.
